Flint's Medicated Oil is a topical formulation used for the treatement of cuts, abrasions and wounds. It repels flies from the wound site reducing the risk of surface infections as well as promoting natural healing without irritation. This ointment helps to prevent formation of "proud flesh" during the healing process, which is an exuberant granulation of tissue which can occur if a wound is left open to heal instead of being sutured or dressed.
